About Music City Steam Co — Meet David, Founder
I'm David — a Christian, a husband, and a father of two daughters. I'm proud to call Goodlettsville, Tennessee, home. My wife is a Sumner County native, and together we've built our life in the Middle Tennessee community we love and are proud to serve.
For more than 20 years, I have worked in the hospitality industry, where I learned one of the most important lessons in service: the smallest details often make the biggest difference.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving guests through respected hospitality brands, including Marriott and Hilton, as well as world-class boutique hotels in Nashville and Boston. These experiences shaped my understanding of what exceptional service looks like and what it means to care for people at a high standard.
During that time, I had the opportunity to lead a repairs and maintenance department responsible for maintaining the standards, functionality, and cleanliness of critical areas — including commercial kitchen environments. That responsibility taught me that cleanliness is about more than appearance. It is about creating spaces where people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident.
Those same standards are what I bring into every home through Music City Steam Co.
Why Music City Steam Co. Was Created
The idea came from something I witnessed firsthand. I watched older family members struggle with tasks many of us take for granted — getting down on their hands and knees to clean an oven, reaching the bottom of a refrigerator, or trying to properly maintain appliances that become more difficult to care for over time.
I also witnessed loved ones living with physical disabilities face these same challenges — not because they didn't care about their homes, but because some tasks simply became difficult or impossible.
I believe no one should have to live with the frustration that comes from not having the time, ability, or resources to properly care for the appliances that are such an important part of their home. That belief became the foundation for Music City Steam Co.
